There’s an oil for that.
Seriously, there is. I have been converted over the last few months and essential oils are life. My little family and I recently took a trip to Arkansas and I had to think long and hard about what oils I wanted to take with us. Since we were going to be doing a lot of hiking and spending times outdoors on the lake, I knew that I needed a few bottles that could do it all. Boy, do I have the list for you.
- Peppermint because it’s good for headaches, allergies and any aches and pains you might face on your trip.
- Terrashield, nature’s amazing bug repellent. Seriously, a total of 5 days outdoors and only 1 mosquito bite. #truestory
- Lavender is a must have because it’s truly the jack of all trades both emotionally and physically. It’s great for calming emotions or dealing with anxiety, as well as helping with burns, scrapes, cuts and it also helps ease sunburn during your trip. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
- Digestzen is one I can’t live without. It helps with bloating, indigestion, abdominal discomfort, and all those yucky tummy extras accompanied with living it up on vacation.
I picked these 4 not only because they’re versatile but because they’re not photosensitive. Which means you can put them on and head out into the great outdoors without having to worry about sun exposure. Trust me when I say that this is extremely important.
So next time you are ready to pack up for next trip, make sure to toss these in your suitcase and enjoy your vacay!! You can thank me later!
