Things that Intimidate People but shouldn’t
First off, can we all just agree that Chrissy is pretty much the jack of all trades. I mean she’s a beautiful model, food blogger (check out SoDelushious), tv host (lip sync battle rules!), wife to the gorgeous John Legend and now, author. Like for real, she is just wow.
When I first found out her cook book was coming out, I hyperventilated just a little because I was promised that the photography was going to be out of this world. If you guys have read my reviews before, you know that I am a sucker for a cookbook with pictures. I mean it sells like no other, and plus I’m a super visual person.
This book was so much more than a cookbook, it was entertaining as hell. Chrissy’s personality oozes out of the pages, and it’s like she’s sitting right there next to you telling you all her secret recipes.
Now onto her mega awesome recipes. The photographs that accompanied the recipes were insane as promised, beautiful and deliciously tempting. This girl LOVES flavor, and you can tell by the ingredients she has listed. Which leads me to the caution part… if certain flavors appear to be too much for you, just cut it back a little, these recipes won’t disappoint.
The book has a little of everything and is broken down into the following sections:

You’re sure to find something you like. I’m officially calling this one a 5 star, because frankly it meets all the requirements for my kitchen cookbook criteria. It looks good and tastes good. Jump into this book, really, don’t be scared. If the recipes aren’t your cup of tea, just sit back and let Chrissy entertain you. I promise she’ll put a smile on your face.
P.S. I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
